A vast expanse of land that spreads along Makran Coast on one side is the amazing National Hingol Park of Pakistan. Comprising an estuary of the Hingol river, it supports diversity of birds and fish species. People throng here to catch a glimpse of marsh crocodile, olive ridley and green marine turtles and dolphins. Equally enthralling are the ibexes, chinkaras, jackals, leopards, foxes, and wild goats. For those who love bird watching, this is an amazing experience that unfolds Houbara Bustard, spot-billed Pelican, merlin, grey partridge, eagle owl, woodpecker, imperial tawny and golden eagle. Some 250-plant species were recorded in the initial surveys including seven yet undescribed species.
Another significant landmark not to be missed is the mud volcano, the only one in South Asia and enjoying the status of being the highest located mud volcano in the world.
Hingol National Park is considered to be one the most beautiful places to visit in Balochistan, Pakistan that offers breathtaking views of Kund Malir Beach and Princess of Hope.
